What does it take to farm medicinal herbs? Jeff Carpenter, co-owner of Zach Woods Herb Farm and author of The Organic Medicinal Herb Farmer, will guide us through medicinal herb farming: sourcing seeds to processing the herbs for sale. If you’re interested in medicinal herbs, either as a potential farmer or as an herbalist, this workshop will deepen your understanding of where our herbs come from and how they get to us.
The workshop will not discuss specific plants to farm in Florida, but we will discuss the business of medicinal herbs and farming medicinal herbs.
